Vulnerability

This week I preached on Anna and Simeon and their recognition of Jesus at the temple. We talked about how and where we are expecting to see Christ in 2012. You can hear the sermon here. Among the ways we talked about to prepare ourselves were spending time in scripture, meditation, and community.

One element that I forgot to mention (I do that a lot) that came to my attention last week was the willingness to be vulnerable, to not be in control.
